What is Unipoints?

Unipoints is a complete package containing everything you need to set up a smartcard based scheme in a closed community such as a business, educational establishment, club, or other institution.

With Unipoints, you can issue smartcards, complete with credit, to each of your customers or users. They can use their card, instead of cash, to pay for services or goods, or collect credit.

Unipoints supports loyalty points and vouchers, making it an effective way of promoting your business, or motivating your users.

Unipoints also provides secure card-to-card data transfer and time recording.

Features and benefits

A valuable promotional tool. Provides your users with attractive pre-printed cards, which can include ID information, enabling you to promote specific goods or services to customers, or reward loyal customers with special offers or discounts.
Merchant systems operate as self-contained independent units. No need for costly or complex wiring from each merchant to the Unipoints Manager. You have total freedom in deciding where to locate the merchant systems, which is especially important on a large site with many widely distributed centres.
Transfer of value, data, and time records only takes place between smartcards Takes advantage of the inherent security of smartcards to ensure that the Unipoints system is reliable and tamper-proof.
Unipoints Manager provides a range of statistics. Verify at a glance how you — and your users — are benefiting from the scheme with information including turnover per user or per merchant, and total float in the scheme.
Merchant cards contain a complete log of every transaction. Provides you with complete information about each user’s transactions, so you gain valuable sales information about how each user is using your services.
Unipoints is a closed system, with full information about transactions. Any attempts at fraud can be identified as leaks into or out of the system, and lost cards can be replaced by analysing the transaction details.
